How we manage consent. On your first visit from the European Union, Google's privacy message appears (the certified consent management platform we use, integrated with Google AdSense, IAB TCF v2.2 standard). Your choice covers the ads and the measurement tools described below and is remembered on later visits.
Cookie-free statistics (PostHog, EU servers). Active for all visitors: page views, interactions, reading times and traffic sources, with no cookies and no persistent identifiers. The data cannot identify you and stays on servers in the European Union. It requires no consent because nothing is stored on your device.
With your consent: measurement. If you consent in Google's message we also enable Google Analytics 4 and anonymous session recording (movements and clicks, with text fields masked) to better understand how to improve the site. In that case measurement cookies are used. Without consent, only the cookie-free statistics remain.
Advertising (Google AdSense). The site hosts advertising spaces served by Google. Depending on the choice you make in the message, Google shows personalised ads (using cookies and advertising identifiers) or non-personalised ads. More on how Google uses data: policies.google.com.
