They will be driving a Sea Phantom 38 powered by 3 Suzuki engines of 300 HP each.
Number 8, and a technical choice off the beaten track: Andrea Rinaldi and Giampaolo Cosi enter the Prologue of the 9th Venezia-Montecarlo on a Sea Phantom 38 with three outboards.
Three Suzuki 300 HP
The boat runs three Suzuki 300-horsepower engines: 900 HP on the transom, a modern and reliable solution, a world away from the raid diesels that crowd the startlist. On the open sea and over the Prologue’s long legs, managing fuel and trim with a triple-outboard set-up is a game of its own.
An ever more varied startlist
Sea Phantom against Buzzi, Albatro, Outerlimits, Cigarette: the Prologue’s strength lies exactly in this mix of hulls and schools, monohulls and ribs, diesel and petrol, brought onto the same route from Venice to Rodi Garganico.
The race runs from 20 to 23 July 2023 over three Adriatic legs. Every crew on the startlist is in the stories from the Prologue; routes, records and roll of honour on the The Race page.
