N°888

Entered with the N°888, the Interceptor 43 of the Vittoria Shipyard.

Another important entry in the Prologue of the 9th Venezia Montecarlo.

Number 888, and a heavyweight industrial name: the Interceptor 43 of the Cantiere Navale Vittoria joins the Prologue of the 9th Venezia-Montecarlo with a front-row crew.

Three world titles on board

Into the cockpit steps three-time world champion Francis “Ciccio” Notschaele, with world champion Fabio Magnani, the Venetian Mario Cosma and shipyard technician Giuseppe Sette. A crew that pairs an international palmarès with intimate knowledge of the hull: the people who built it are aboard to race it.

A yard’s own boat, racing

Bringing an Interceptor 43 from a structured shipyard like Vittoria to the start says a lot about the Venezia-Montecarlo: a race that draws not only pilots but builders wanting to test their hulls on the open sea and over distance.

The Prologue runs from 20 to 23 July 2023 over three Adriatic legs, from Venice to Rodi Garganico. Every crew on the startlist is in the stories from the Prologue; routes, records and roll of honour on the The Race page.
