The N°58 Grady-White with 3 Yamaha engines of 425 HP each

Pilots Massimo Marinelli and Mirco Betti.

Days before the start, the Prologue startlist gains number 58: a Grady-White driven by three Yamaha 425-horsepower engines, with pilots Massimo Marinelli and Mirco Betti.

A walkaround with 1,275 horsepower

The Grady-White is an American open-water boat, rugged and seaworthy, brought here in race trim with three Yamaha outboards for a total of 1,275 HP on the transom. A different beast from the startlist’s racing prototypes, but built to take the Adriatic chop safely over the long legs.

The last signature before the start

Signing up in July, right on the eve of the start, captures the enthusiasm around the Venezia-Montecarlo’s return: right to the last, crews and yards finished their boats to be there.

The ninth-edition Prologue runs from 20 to 23 July 2023 over three Adriatic legs, from Venice to Rodi Garganico. Every entry is in the stories from the Prologue; the routes and roll of honour on the The Race page.
